    What species is this?

Hi everyone So I’ve had this cichlid for 4 years now, I got it as an adult with my 2 razorback turtles. It’s almost 5” long. Can anyone identify the species? I’m planning of buying more of the same cichlid to live with it in my turtle tank.

    Tank size Advice needed

Great thank you. And one more thing, I could get a ghost knife fish instead of a fire eel. Do you think they would be fine in this tank as some places say they max 20” and some say 3ft. And are they compatible tankmates? I’m aiming to buy them all as babies.

    Tank size Advice needed

Just did some more research and you’re right, I’ll scrap the arowana idea, I’ll remove it from the post. They are massive.

I’ve been keeping fish for many years and decided it’s time to finally invest in my biggest tank yet for a predator fish I am aiming on buying 2-3 Bichirs (my dream fish) as well as some large tank mates such as Oscars, maybe even a...

Razorback turtle just laid an Egg

Thank you! I watched a few YouTube videos and did some research and have done already done exactly what you said. I’m still thinking of a way to keep the incubator box at the right temperature but I’ll come up with a solution soon. I appreciate your response.

Razorback turtle just laid an Egg

Hi, I have 2 razorback turtles, I’m guessing one is female and one is male as I have seen them trying to mate (the previous owner did not tell me). The larger one had laid 2 eggs on its platform and managed to crush one and break it unfortunately. Is there any way to tell if the remaining egg is...

Which Coldwater fish don't eat plants?

Thanks for the suggestions, I think white clouds are the best choice they seem to be happy in these temperatures. Do you know if they eat plants? They are omnivores.

Which Coldwater fish don't eat plants?

T Thanks for your response. It’s about 125 litres, however I’m looking for just a few small fish so it’s easy to maintain. Do you know if the fish you listed above are known for eating live plants?

Which Coldwater fish don't eat plants?

Hi, I recently set up a tank outside near my shed. I'm using this tank to grow out plants. In the next few months the temperature will be between 17-28 degrees C. Are there any small (below 15cm) fish that can survive these temperatures, that will not eat my plants? And are they available...
