I have had DIY Co2 running for about a month now and as KirkyArcher said once you start you will not want to go back. I have a 100L tank and I run my Co2 24/7 without an air stone and have had no problems so far. You will want surface agitation in some way though, doesn't need to be extreme...

I think it looks better now that you have moved around. Not sure about the stones on the right hand side though, looks cluttered but that could be just me.  As techen said I would wait a bit and let things grow out to see if you like it.

I agree with the filter being hidden a bit more, for whatever reason the plant (hygrophila?) on the left hand side hasn't grown as quick as the stuff in the centre even though it was all bought at the same time. Keep looking at external filters for that exact reason. I really like the idea of...

Thanks. I am still amazed that the cherry barb is still with us. He had a deformed fin from the day he got home and has never grown any bigger since.   The pictures were taken on a Canon 1100D. Cant decide which of the gourami's I should enter into 'Fish of the month'.
