i feed my discus twice a day they get fed in the morning then again at night, you should only be putting enough in that they eat in about 2 mins. what else do you have in the tank? 

hi i use kusuri wormer+ you get it on eBay cheaper then you will find it in the shops

I always thought that discus didn't like a strong current in the tank but since i got a new filter and it doesn't have the spray bar attachment one of my dicsus just sit in the current from the outflow all day.... is this normal lol 

well they made it through the night and they are still fanning them but i haven't seen a change in colour of them :( will see what happens tonight....

Thanks guys dont think im going to be lucky this time tho they in a community tank and the rosy barbs have noticed the eggs so I think they may be gone by the morning. Going to try and get a new big tank to put this two in by themselfs tho

  Done all that I've had it apart and had the impeller out everything, just can't seem to get it to quieten down for some reason, i have phoned the shop and they are going to phone the manufacture to see what they say about it 

  hi    thanks this is the second filter i have had off them in 4 months the last noe was whisper quiet but the motor went on it and now this one making a loud rattling noise 

Does anybody have an aqua manta filter from maidenhead aquatics with the spry bar attachment fitted at all?   i have changed to this attachment as i got discus and they didn't like the flow from the other attachment but now since changing to the spray bar the filter has gone noisy as hell is...

i would love discus i just think they are amazing fish, deffo have heart set on them 

ok so if i changed my corys then would the stocking level be ok? as the post above says the discus would be pushing the tank?
