I went to a store close to me, it was the first time I'd seen cockatoo cichlids in the flesh. So I brought a pair! ( i think there triple reds) It seems every time I see any dwarf cichlids they always have kris or rams.....

I din't realise they were so many colour variations of the Curviceps, the only one ive seen are the white with the black spot. The apistogramma are quite cool aswell and tbh the Cacatuoides were the ones i was looking at. Are they fine to mix species then? What about Kribensis and Rams?

Eventually when my tank cycles (2 months and counting) I have been looking at getting some dwarf cichlids. But not too sure which ones to get. Any recommendations? I've got a decent sized tank, but its a communal tank so am I limited on certain species?
