Tank Disaster - What To Do Now?

I will let someone else answer your question as to what to do, but some advice I could give is set up like a 10-20 gallon quarantine tank (I usually do bare bottom, no lighting, filter, some soft fake plants floating or anchored depending on fish) to house any new fish in for about 2 weeks and...

    Betta: Shredded Fins. Help!

Possibly. They are a bit closer to a window than they were before. The crown tail is much more aggressive than my veil tail. So maybe that's why he has more damage? I've always had issues with my veil tail's fins even though the water quality has always been good and has had the best care...

    Betta: Shredded Fins. Help!

I recently moved and now live in a place that runs off of city water. I purchased the API water conditioner (store was out of Seachem prime -- I hear that is the best you can get). I also transported all of my cycled media to jump start my cycle. I haven't been able to test the water parameters...

Jungle Start Zyme .. Cycle In A Bottle?

So, I was at wal mart the other day and saw Jungle Start Zyme, which is supposedly supposed to jump start your cycle. It even claims on the bottle to use it once a month for an established tank. I have never used it, and all of my tanks are already cycled. But I was curious as to what everyone's...

    How To Treat Drift Wood?

No, unfortunately I wasnt paying attention to what type of trees were around me when I found it. It was up sort of in this cavern/ rock over hang by the river so I am thinking it floated down river from a flood several months ago to be as high in that cavern as it was and to be totally dried...

    How To Treat Drift Wood?

    Cheap Fake Plants? Advice?

If you have ever stepped foot into a store, then you probably have seen the fake flowers/ greenery most stores like the Dollar Store, Michael's, Wal Mart etc. have to offer. I was wondering if anyone has used these fake plants in their aquariums or if that is even safe to do?    Thanks for the...

    Advice On Glass Cleaning

Just remember that green algae is actually good :) It helps bring oxygen into the water and your fish probably like to snack on it as well. Maybe only scrub the frontal view? It isnt very pretty but just a thought!
