The reason of getting rid of them is that they are over 20 fish and they eat a lot and mostly from the wrong food for the eels, and they get very BIG problems besause doing this!

The Father was an Alien Betta, the mother a regular B. splendens.

They bred in my 150 l with 6 spiny eels and other animals, from the larve to the adult fish.

Well, it seems that the fish are going to a store, and they will be gone after next Friday, thank God, and greetings to the English-speaking aquarists of the world!

I can remember the past time also in Berlin, it has been a while since Bombina orientalis had been imported in spades, the other ones from China which were available everywhere was Pachytriton labiatus, a beautifull newt, and I suppose in China now they have reached the limit where the scenery...

Hello Navfish, I've been seeking in german aquarium forums just to be able to find answers to your problem, unfortunatelly I can't speak out of my own experience, but I found it seems to be a quite frequent issue on angelfishes, and in most cases people didn't find a clear source of the problem...

Hello, for the milky water the best you can do is to use an ultraviolet lamp. Some expertes here could tell you some information I hope, or in the web.(I never had one)
