I have noticed a small white lump (like a pimple) on the base of my guppy's body towards it's tail. It looks like it could be hard from what i can see. Any ideas as to what it could be and how i could treat it. Also any idea why it occurred would be appreciated. Thanks

Our platties have been breeding like crazy. Ours tends to let 6 or so fry out over a period of days to a couple weeks. I'e been told this is common. It doesn't seem to bother them any.
