I was wondering if I could use a Zoo Med Ocean Sun 10,000K T-8 Bulb in one of my tanks, 7 gallon, or if it would be way too bright. I'm honestly not too familiar with non-stock lighting but I can get the zoo meds cheaper.

So I want to start building my own filter pads with media, but all the information I'm finding online is confusing. I'm thinking of getting the pads and putting some kind of bio media inside. What would you guys recommend, and what's the procedure for rinsing/reusing them? I appreciate it guys.

I'm thinking about starting another 20-30 gallon tank, and I'm wondering which brand is best, Aqueon, Marineland penguin biowheel, or aquaclear. I have an aqueon in my 15 gallon and it works pretty good I guess but I was wondering what peoples opinions are. I appreciate any input.

I was just trying to get some opinions on what might be the least aggressive Gourami species. I have a Blue Paradise Gourami and he's pretty tame (I've heard they're pretty aggresive usually) but I was wondering what other people had to say about their own experiences cause I might replace him...

I bought a 15 gallon aqueon column tank and it's set up with fake plants right now, but I'm considering switching to live plants after looking at some of the tanks on this forum. Anyone know if the stock light for that is good enough or a light that would work?
