I was looking at some plants that Petco was selling and I found a beautiful large Java Fern and bought it. I think it makes my tank look much better. What do you think?

For a 30 gallon tank, I would take a look at Neon Tetras, Rasboras, and other schooling fish, with a slightly larger fish that will stand out.

If I upgrade, I would need to pay my housing company a $200 deposit, which I don't think will happen any time soon.

They were there before I added a plant to.   

Its clogged with these weird white stringy things, I can try to get a picture if you want. Its a 10 gallon tank with just one crowntail betta. Its rated for 10 gallons. 

The intake on my 10 gallon tank keeps getting clogged, resulting in a weak filter flow. I can clean it, but it gets clogged again within a few days. It never used to do this. Is there anything I should be doing?    Thank you for your help   Best Regards,  Goldfish98
