    Dropsy?

Ive have a black platy for about a month now with no problems. About a week ago she got injured by something (probably gourami) and had a couple of damaged scales. Because of this I've been watching he extra closely every day. Her damaged scales are repared but I've noticed her scales all appear...

    Leggy Cabomba

My cabomba is growing way too leggy. Its up to 2 inches between nodes on some stalks. Tank is 20 gallons, pressurized co2, EI fert dosing, 3.8 wpg. I've heard it could be too little light? It seems like its just growing too darn fast.

    Sick Gourami

I'm not an expert by any means but I just lost a dwarf gourami with similar symptoms to dwarf gourami virus. I had no idea of its existence but here is some information: http://www.fishchannel.com/fish-health/disease-prevention/fish-viral-disease.aspx As a note, in the article it says the virus...

Please Help Id Plant Or Id Problem

I bought two of these plants labelled only as anubias. When purchased they had the typical green, roundish leaves on a long stem. After transplant the leaves melted and the regrowth is red/rust colored in the leaf margins and the leaves are more sword shaped and have little stem. What variety...

Platy Is Not Well. Appears Unable To Float..?

She is still hanging in there but seems to be listless overall. She no longer appears to be sinking, but does still spend her time hiding on the gravel or in a corner at the surface. No appetite either. Feces are back to normal though. All other fish in the tank still seem healthy.

Platy Is Not Well. Appears Unable To Float..?

I have a female platy who is sinking to the bottom of the tank. It appears as though she is unable to float well, and is not deliberately swimming to the bottom. She is still moving her fins, isn't clamped but seems to be "gulping." She is also listless and doesn't react to the other fish. The...

    Neon Tetras Arent Schooling

I've had 10 neon tetras for about two weeks now and everyone seems to be doing great but the fish are no longer schooling. They just kind of dart about in their own area of the tank and will occasionally join up with three or so. They all are eating and bright, no hiding.. Its just weird. Do...
