Hi all,
I am going to be setting up a Juwel Lido 200 soon and I am planning to buy an OASE Biomaster Thermo filter but I am wondering which model is most suitable for the tank.
It is a 200 litre tank that will have sand, easy to keep plants and a normal tropical community when it comes to fish...

I think I am going to go with some aquatic soil in plastic filter bags topped with the B.D. Sand I posted a link to earlier in the thread. It will give me some options if I do decide...
Once again, thank you! I made a mistake in my original post. I actually bought the 200 litre / 55g version of the Lido. I don't know why I put 120.... It is 71cm long, 51 cm wide and ~ 60cm usable depth. They come with internal filters new but I bought mine second hand.
I really appreciate your post, very informative. That sifting behaviour is one I have seen in my old marine tank with a sand sifting Goby. Very interesting to watch them work!
Thanks, are there any particular types? With a white tank with currently no background but I do have some opaque covering I can put on the back I wonder what colour of sand would be best?

In my Roma 90 I have a group of C. Habrosus that are very cute and have been breeding. The substrate is Fluval...
