One of my serpae tetras( the one with the longest fins)has always had a terrible twitch but recently I noticed that if it is still it's twitch is worse and it's tail fins go downward and it's head points upward. Any thoughts or is this normal?

Ok so I completed changing my gravel to sand over the weekend. and I thought I had 2 peppered cory fry but once I finished the change I realized I have 6 fry. So how many corys can be housed in my 55g tank (standard rectangle) without over stocking it? My current stock is in my signature.
