So I have been battling the dreaded Ich for 12 days now.... when will it ever go away? I lost most of my stock to it the first few days. I used Api super Ich cure for the first 7 days and really did not see any change so I switched to AP quick cure. I have been using the half dosage directions due to my stock. but I still have 2 of my glow light neons and 2 of my guppies that are still showing signs of ich but they are looking much better than the were a few days ago. How much longer do I need to treat it once I no longer see it? My corys do not show any sign of it and I am afraid the meds are going to hurt them...
I opt'ed not to try salt due to my corys, I did try raising the temp a little over 2 days at the beginning but my corys seemed to not like that at all.
I am new to this and failed to have a proper quarantine tank setup to use for new fish and plants. I do have one setup now but it is not cycled. I read that I could use the media from my old tank but due to the condition of it now I have been hesitant to do that.
Any suggestion on either topic would be appreciated.

hope u sort it soon , good luck :)

Corys don't get ich (although they can get a similar disease) but they are sensitive to most meds as you have mentioned.

Can you get the corys out so you can treat the rest of the tank full strength?

Cheers

Also have you got carbon in your filter, because that can remove the meds you have given the fish making not as effective, if not then ignore my comment, but they do say carry on the meds till the treatment has finished because it can return if you stop part way through.
