Hi, My tank isn't too heavily planted , an Amazon sword and a small baby dwarf tears (which is meant to be carpeting the tank but is now carpeted by a layer of hair algae -.-) I'll try reducing my light time for 2 weeks by 3hrs and see what happens :D

Hi, I dose liquid CO2 and liquid fertilizer and have my lights on 1pm-10pm. I'm starting to see green hair algae creep over the leaves of my plant and the gravel, Will reducing the light time help get rid of this? How long should I have the light on? Thanks, Tom

Thanks, seeing as i've added two new live plants and a snail recently there may have been an ammonia/nitrite/ate spike. I'll stay at once a week but do 50-60% water change. I'll have a look into this IAL,  Thanks for the help :D
