he's an albino catfish. ok, thanks!! 1 and a half gallons. Sadly he is the only one. I've been looking in to getting more and moving to bigger tank. I will ask my mom, she works at Petsmart.

Is It normal for a catfish to stay in one spot at the bottom of the tank? He still swims around but mostly stays in that one spot. It could be that he's the only catfish in the tank, but he does have a Betta friend. He's still eating and stuff, and he and the Betta get along.

ok, I am truly sorry!!!! I had no idea! I will get a filter ASAP, at the moment I can not get more catfish but I will look into it (my catfish is acting like a normal fish and seems happy to me. so does my betta)I do have space now for a larger tank, but I can't move them yet. I clean their tank...

ok, I'm sure this gets asked A LOT but, how often should a tank be cleaned? My current tank is at the moment filterless(will probably be getting one). Does the number of fish affect how often it gets clean?(I have a Betta and a catfish). Just curious! the tank is. 1 and a 1/2 gallons Thanks!!!!
