Started my first Fishless cycle ten minutes ago!
Finished filling my 55 Gallon!
Poured boiling water on my rocks to start making them safe for my 55 Gallon tank, while the rocks were in plastic bowls. Melted a hole in one of the bowls. Not the smartest thing I've ever done...
Very happy fishkeeper right here. Today went to a pet store, and only the Bettas were unhealthy! I was so happy most of the fish were okay. I won't be buying Bettas there (there were dead ones) but I may buy other fish.
3 Platys have died, and I still haven't been given my new tank yet

Got a new fish today The people giving me my new tank decided that they had to give me the fish a few days in advance, so now my tank is even more overstocked with a 5-6 year old Gourami! I'll have the tank by Monday, and he's going in there immediately.
I'm enjoying my new member title "Fish Crazy".

I've been updating my blog everyday since I got my fish!
New fish! Apparently I was first choice to get them, and the people didn't want the other person to have them at all. Getting my 55 Gallon soon, so they should be happy!
