Hey, i am getting my first tank, a 20-gallon. what should i put in it? looking for some cool, pretty easy fish. any suggestions of fish or combos would be most welcome

i am getting a 20 gallon tank, not sure what fish to put in. right now, i am thinking 12 neon tetras, 6 peppered corys and 1 or 2 dwarf gourami. thoughts on this combo, or recommended other combos? note: i have a very limited budget. 

okay, thank you! if i get rid of the bloodfins, say, could i get 15 neons?
