Actually, just measured the cabinet cupboard and there's not enough space for an external :(   So needs to be internal. Thinking either a Fluval U2 or an Eheim Biopower 160? Anyone any other recommendations?   Any advice greatly appreciated  Thanks!

  I did have an anubias plant however because I had Hagen Sunglo lighting it just kept getting caked in black algae, even with weekly water changes, so in the end I threw it away. I have a Hagen Aquaglo now which isn't as bright, so might revisit live plants. Anything you can recommend that...

Hmm, think I might stick with my Rena Filstar iv2 for a little while longer. I put some filter wool in yesterday (the foam is hollow so I stuffed some wool in it) and it seems to be picking up more particles now. If it gets worse again I might look at that APS filter. Really wish I could get...
