I have a 10 Gallon tank and I started it up cycling 1 week ago. I added a full dose of ammonia in the tank and now the ammonia readings come up as 0PPM. Is it cycled?
Well, I don't know how, but it is at 4.0 ppm. What do I do now?
The shrimp is still in my tank, should I take it out?
What do I do if it gets too high?
What do I do if it gets too low?
How often do I need to do water changes to my 10 gallon tank? I have a shrimp wrapped in an old panty hose for my source of ammonia. The ammonia was already 1.0 ppm last time I checked before I put the shrimp in. Once the Ammonia gets up to 3.0 ppm then how many water changes should I do every...
Well, I have a 10 gallon tank and I need to cycle it. So some websites say to put certain types of fish in the tank, but I dont want to put fish in it. How do I do a fishless cycle. I dont have time to post details, but I'll be on later to tell you the details about my tank.
1. For temporary he was in a 1 gallon un-filtered tank until I got a tank divider and put it in a filtered to gallon. Know he is in the 10 gallon.
2. No, my camera dosent get good pics of fish.
How do bettas lose their tail? Mine just all of the sudden lost its tail!!. Theres no sign of tear, it looks like part of it just came off!!. What should I do, can it grow back?
1) 78 fareinheit
2) 0.25 ammonia. Don't have anything to test nitrates/nitrites. (I am planning on getting some ammonia lowerer soon)
3) No, but she was only in there 3 days.
Also, it looks as if someone sprinkled yellow pollen, or dust on her back. Is that ich?
Hi. I just did a little remodeling to my fish tanks, therefor, my female betta had to be moved to a bowl for a few days. I got my ten gallon set back up and moved her back in their with my molly. She used to be the color of steel blue, now she is whiteish/gray. She also dosen't swim very much...
Her tank was better for a while (Because she put a lot of medication in it), but then, her fry died, and her swordtail died, and her sailfin molly died. And she has only had them for about 1 or 2 months, so they didn't die of old age.
Wow, you have a lot of pets, a few questions.
What are flowerhorns?
What are degus?
And I didn't know you could keep chipmunks and owls, I guess you had to keep a supply of nuts and mice, lol.
