I acquired some of this plant recently and it has grown extremely quickly reaching the top of the tank within days. I love the way it looks kind of like reeds with the stems straight up and grass like leaves coming of the sides and the way the leaves move with the current. What I want to know is how to prune it back. It has grown along the surface and the grass like leaves are very narrow but there are so many now it is blocking out a some of the light. Can I just cut the top off and replant the tops like conventional stem plants and will the stems that are left produce new stems from the stumps. When I was planting them initially it looked they were on runners rather than a conventional stem plant. Thanks for your help
