Generally not everyday stock you'll find at every store all the time, but not rare either.

They can easily be ordered if you want them and their not in stock.

(I'm assuming you mean botia striata)
 
Just gonna use this thread as i hate to start a new one saying pretty much the same thing.

Got one of these today, in quarantine at the moment with 3 white clouds. Looks nervous but lovely colours.

will probably end up getting more for company for him, but does anybody have any suggestions of other bottom dwellers, loaches or plecos that they get on well with?

was thinking of getting a yoyo loach or spotted raphael catfish, but only have a 100ltr tank so not sure.

maybe a flying fox or a SAE would be more appropriate? thoughts?
 
They should get along with most peaceful bottom dwellers.

You should buy botine loaches in groups though. They're much more active in groups of 4+.
 
well i would have got more but unfortunatly this was the only one in the shop. Will get them to order me more in though as i think these are great little fish.

But really really good at hiding!
