Well I finished my fishless cycle everythings going perfect...

flashback time..doodoo doodoo doodoo doodoo <insert wavy images here>

Im explaining why I got swordtails, theyre just so easy to breed. I see something on the bottom of the tank. OH OH LOOK! ITS A BABY SWORDTAIL!

I have a ten gallon ready and cycled but I dont think I want to remove them and get them stressed out. There are plenty of plants to hide in and the babies are about half an inch long. Should I remove them or let them be?

If you think that they have enough cover and there are not many predators in their tank they shold be fine to leave. However, if there are large fish in their current tank they will probably be lunch before long.

if they're really half an inch long, then you can leave them in the tank because chances are they've been there for several weeks by now and survived. besides they sound too big to be eaten at this stage. do you have any large fish in the tank?

take it out if you want to raise survival levels. just be gentle

Only a pleco...and he doesnt bother them. Swordtails are the only other fish in the tank.
