Why Is My Gourami So Picky...?

I have a Sunset Honey Gourami, 6 danios, 4 emerald corys, and 4 albino corys.

My gourami eats TetreMin Flakes usually. But I ran out, and at the Local Fish store they had a sell on some fish food... for Vivid colors, so I bought it since it was cheaper.

My gourami eats it, then spits it out.

I feed my fish once a month Frozen Baby Brine Shrimp. My gourami now will not eat them. He'll take the pieces, eat the and spit them out.
And he won't even touch Freeze Dried Bloodworms.

The other fish eat just fine, but it's just him. Why is he so picky? I'm also trying to get some Hikari Micro Wafers since my other fish love them (bettas, guppies, swordtails/mollies)

But I'm afraid he won't eat them either... Why is he so picky? And yes I'm getting more TetreMin flakes. If he's basically going to stop eating everything else, at least I can get him to eat something.

What I have found when it comes to this issue, is that the picky fish will eventually take the new flakes. I had a similiar problem with a couple of angels, they didn't eat for about 7 days then they finally started eating there new type of flakes.
