White Slime Like Algae

Iam currently cycling a small external filter for my brother.

It has Enhiem filter tubes on it and i noticed theres some kind of slimey white algae growing in the pipes. Looking at the filter there seems to be a good bit inside floating in it, it seems to be lining the pipes on the inlet and the outlet.

Nobody? Just a bit concered if its pumping toxins into my tank.

Anyone had a similar problem?
