Which Heater

hi Foks,
Looking for recommendations on tank heater.
I’m setting up a 75 gallon fresh water tank. Using a 20 gallon wet/dry filter where I plan on using two 200 watt heaters horizontaly.
Please give me your opinion on which brand(s) you use and trust.

I'd use 2x Eheim Jager heaters and a heater controller if it was my setup! Honestly; I do not trust any brand of heater these days (hence the heater controller). I feel as though the Eheim heaters are at least well put together.. They feel reassuringly heavy - for what little that is worth - and I've never had any of mine fog up internally like I have had happen with other brand heaters.

I did try a Fluval electronic heater once; it decided one day to stop heating as it claimed there was low flow. Didn't lose any fish from that episode but it annoyed me enough that I got rid of it as I couldn't trust it!

Thanks for you reply. I sure like the controller idea. Another fail safe can’t hurt.
Researching reliable heater controllers. Have a chipotle for my seed mat that works well, so going from there.

i have been using eheim jaggers for years on all my tanks....reasonably priced and work well
