Where To Get A Proper Antibiotic In The Uk

Ive been having trouble with the fish for a while now. they have been over the weeks slowly dying. ive tried every med i can for all types of infections but when i think its sorted another fish gets ill.

my water is spot on and do weekly cleaning and water changes.

so while searching on the net i find out about maracyn and maracyn 2 which is a better solution with its being a proper antibiotic and while all else is failing i thought i would give it a try. but with it being an antibiotic it isnt allowed to be sold in the uk.

ive read you can ask a vet for an antibiotic but what do i need to ask for specifically and how much will it cost and what about dosage?

Is it illegal to get shipped to you from the US.... like buying it on ebay??

go to your vet and ask for amoxicillin (aka fish mox)
this will treat most gram postive and some gram negitive bacteria.
as for the dose/cost the vet will advise you on that.

yeah i seen them on ebay but i think its also best to know where you can get them local in case of emergencies. postage times can get long from the US to.
