Where Did My Cherries Go

I just ordered about 6 red cherry shrimp online a couple of days ago. Now i can only find 2. I checked to filter and tho only decoration in there right now. There are a couple of plants but otherwise its pretty bare. The only othe tankmates are 4 danios and 2 ghost shrimps. The tank is a 10 gallon.

What size are the cherries? If they are small, a danio could eat them. Or they could be hiding, its surprizing how well they hide.

I just got them so they are about a half inch.

They do hide really, really well. If the shrimp recently moulted, and were soft, I think the danio's could have stressed/nibbled them to death. What size are the danios?

They must hide somewhere. It happened to my shrimp as well. When i change my tank setting, get everything out, i notice there are some shrimp i thought died a few weeks ago.


btw, shrimp will come out at night, so turn off the light and put a piece food, then wait
