I have one question what is this (see picture)? and what do I do next? (ok so that was two but im worried!)

Cant see the picture that well does it look like a fluffy white patch.

Yeah that is what it is, the only digital camera I could get hold of at the time was my phone. So what should I do? Will it have affected the others in the tank?

Well I have removed all the other fish from the tank added some medication, for what its worth dropped the temperature and will do a 20% water change tomorow, dont know whether to bother with salt seeing as it is a scaless fish

No don't add salt if it's a scaless fish it will stress it out to much, good luck.
