Weather loaches?

I have 2 weather loaches and 1 is really skinny and small.I got them both about 3years ago and the skinny 1 does'nt seem to have got any bigger.The other loach is really big.They both get their share of food.Could 1 be a male and 1 a female? And how old can weather loaches get?

Strange, I keep them and have never experienced this problem, mine are both growing and growing. In good conditions they can live for 10-15 years and maybe more.

I have one weather loach and he is going fine he loves to play in my hand whenever I am in the tank.... I dunno male from female sorry I couldnt help out
