Just a query I had really.

I have upgraded to a 100 gallon tank and for the first time have introduced some real plants.

I currently have 3 large bunches (pots)of Echinodorus amazonicus
4 bunches(pots) of ALTERNANTHERA CARDINALIS
and several other foreground plants

all have been planted in the substrate and are doing very well.

I have had the tank running for several months and currently complete weekly water changes of arund 10%.

My current stocking levels are

14neon tetras
5 beacon fish
6 penguin tetras
4 congo tetras
2 polka dot loaches
2 silver dollars
1 pink kissing gourami
5 mollys

I recently did a water test and results are 0 amonia 0 nitrite and around 10 nitrate. Given that I have a fairly well established tank along with several plants do I need to change the water as often as once a week or given the condition of the water (is this sown to the plants) could I change the water less often?

i would stick eith what you are already doing

If you're serious about your plants, you might want to introduce fertilizers and CO2 - best check in the planted section how this all works
