transporting cichlids

A LFS (an hour away) will be purchasing some Mbuna Cichlids from me that are 3-4 inches long. Do oxygen tablets added to transport bags help? Or, will 30% water in a large bag in a cooler with only 1-2 fish each will do the trick?

One hour is a short trip. You'll take twice that packing them!

I would get some bags online, and single pack them. For an hour, a six inch base bag would do. Don't feed them for 24 hours before packing, so their guts can clear out.

double bag the fish too because cichlids regularly puncture bags

1/3 water and 2/3 air and they should be ok for an hour.
