Transport aquarium on its side

I’ll be picking up a brand new 300 litre tank from a store next week. I am wandering if there’s any reason it would be an issue to transport the tank with the box on its side so it fits in the car. The tank is quite tall so I don’t think it would fit with the base being at the the bottom?

Choose very smooth roads, and don't be in a hurry. I hope you can do that in Australia - Canadian roads would bounce things around at this time of year.

It’s Highway all the way, so should be alright. Just making sure the lying in its side won’t put any pressure where there shouldn’t be any
