Top Dwelling Fish

Hello.
I have a 20h.
I need some top dwelling fish.
The top of my tank looks empty!

Danios, guppies, bettas, platies, mollies, ABFs.

What else does your tank have in it?

Hatchets are always at the top.... THey look like floating leaves IMO

Hi...I tried hatchets...very prone to ich and like some people posted here about otos, some died with normal water parameters and no signs of disease. I'd go with danios. I have turquoise danios and they are great schoolers and fly just beneath the surface. SH

Tetras like to be in schools of 6 or more. Id get more tetras before worring about other fish.

danios are the way to go great active colourful and hardy but get a small group

Maybe an african butterfly, also platies and gouramis would be good

I have the same problem. I have a really deep 126ltr tank now and most of my fish are bottom dwelling catfis and bristlnoses. Only think that swims about a bit is my Smally Colomeses Puffer (Puffy) and Bruce the Red Tail Shark.

I want to add some more Black Phantom Tetra but would like some top level fish that the puffer won't eat! (He savaged all 30 river shrimp within 72 hours even the ones bigger than him! (cheap food!))

Did you cycle the tank?
