i found my tetra that was lossing color dead 2day in the morning :-( :byebye:
and i dint know the cause so i toke the dead fish to the place i got it from and asked what the hell happend and they say it might be natural as the tetra was old :S, how do they know if the fish was old??? i also toke some water 4 testing and it came up all normal

R.I.P :rip:

You can tell if they are old if they have greying fins

Sorry to hear about your loss. There really isn't a definate way to tell if it was old, the person at your LFS probably didn't know why it died so that was a logical conclusion. You can only really tell if the fish is old by keeping it and watching it grow through the years I think. By normal what do you mean? Can you give us the readings on your tests?
