Tank progress

Leave him in the tank and keep doing water changes. If you can gravel clean some of the substrate when you do a water change, that will help.

Try not to disturb him too much when water changing or gravel cleaning the tank.

Will do that. He's spending almost all of his time at the top of the tank trying to get these two little cracks that he may think are worms. I want to cover them so he'll move lower, especially for water changes, but I'm not sure what will work. Is there anything that could harm him in the adhesive on duct tape?

Edit: he was sleeping on the filter again so I wrapped pantyhose around it and secured it with a hair tie. Before I put it in the tank, is this okay? @Deanasue
