Synodontis eruptus

Not wanting to breed them or anything, but do these guys like to school? We had two for a while, and at first, they seemed happy to see each other. But then, they seemed to kinda not like each other a whole lot. Then, the other one got ick and died, while the other survived.

I was just wondering if we should replace the dead one to make the other happier...

Like most synodontis species S.eupterus will school when young but preffers to lead a solitary life when adult, unless the tank is very large (over 100g) i wouldnt replace the second fish.
