Hi all, ive made a little list of things i think will work in my juwel rio 125. Corrections or recomendations welcome, so here goes...

1)10g homemade sump
2)http/bit.ly/1dHc9mH overflow box
3)http/bit.ly/17c70fH X2 powerheads
4)Eheim jager heater 100w?
5)Ro/di unit
6)Tmc v2 skim 120
7)12-13kg live rock
8)Sand
9)How much lr for sump?
10)pump for sump, which one?
11)http/bit.ly/15UzeLB X3 plus a blue moon light bulb.

Is this all ok? Also if ive missed anything please add.

The list looks pretty good. If you haven't already done so, make sure you budget for liquid test kits and a hydrometer/refractometer (refractometer is better).
 
What are you wanting to keep in this tank? Any corals or is it FOLR? That will effect the lighting suitability. For FOWLR it doesn't matter, although too much of the wrong spectrum can still promote some annoying algaes, but those bulbs would not be suitable for most corals.
 
Hopefully someone else can answer the sump-specific questions; I haven't had a sumped tank before.

Yes ive budgeted for test kits etc. the tank has no lid so the lights are just a cheap quick fix untill i choose to keep coral. Upto now the plan it live rock and sand and 2 clown fish, then when ive gain more experiance i will look into coral.
