Hi mate,

What size tank have you got ?!?

BN's are pretty easy to look after, as long as you've got a tank big enough for them.

I'd say you need at least a 25G from a pair of BN's.

I've got a breeding Trio, 1m and 2f's in a 40G tank, and they've bred 3 times in the last 10 weeks !!! :D

My male lives inside a piece of bogwood, but it's not a 'must have' as people have them breeding in slate caves, flower pots, all sorts!

If you're going to breed them seriously, I'd recommend moving the fry to a seperate tank, but if you're just going to let them do it naturally like me, it's fine. I've got about 12 fry left in my tank out of the 3 spawns I've had.

As for food, I feed mine cucumber and JMC Catfish Pellets.

Hope that helps,
Andy
