i got a purple waffle plant a while back (not knowing it was terrestrial but certainly suspecting it...)
its in my spare/growout plant tank. i was rearraniging the tank the other day and left the waffle out for a few hours with it s stems (hasn t grown roots yet) in a jar of water.
i came back to find it almost completely wilted. i put it back in the tank and within a few hours it perked back up to it s original condition.
why?
it s a terrestrial plant!

Thats the thing about purple waffle. they seem to grow under water but die once you remove them, but still they die in you tank..

Its like when you have a healthy plant and you put it in your tank for more than a week its doomed.. it will not easily recover not in or out of the water..

I currently have a big one growing in the back yard, not the one on the pic mine looks much worse.. but used to use cuttings for my tank, now its just to much trouble

since it is going to die anyways, would it hurt if i threw it in my goldfish tank for them to munch on?
