My Grandparents have had this pond for years where they have slowly raised about 180 goldfish, but as of last monday the goldfish have vanished.
I understand this particular breed does this regularly in the winter, however right now its still the summer in the uk.
Also their new pump broke a day ago(its new). The pump worked with a sort of waterfall effect and did have additional protection.
They didn't die because we would see atleast a few floaters. The pond is protected by netting and wasn't disturbed. My grandfather tryied adding some fresh water manually yesterday.
Needless to say they are both very worried. We haven't checked the reeds becuase we dont want to disterbe them. So any ideas?
