ph swings

im running c02 in my 15 gal, and im noticing ph swings when i change the c02 bottle... my KH is now at around 5 and ph is around 7.5 and i think it drops when i chage my bottle... and so does some of my fish... would increasing my kh help this ? or is there another way to prevent the swings ??

Use 2. Make 2 bottles and fill it w/ your solution, and then get one of those T check valves, and as long as you know how long each bottle of yeast/sugar/water will last making CO2 for your tank, you're all good. Let's say 2 weeks, plug in bottle no. 1 today and after a week plug in the second. Then just make sure you change the first bottle when you know it's finished, this way you'll always have 1 bottle producing CO2. HTH

Soda's unhealthy for you. All that sugar... I prefer alcohol. I used a Smirnoff vodka 2 L bottle and it works perfectly. Just make sure to seal all holes properly with proper aquarium grade silicon.
