Ok so I am having some trouble with my betta (Here) And I said to my mum we should try and take it back because it is getting to aggresive. And then my mum said If you dont want the fish then I will flush it down the toliet, it is only a fish . So I said It's not that I dont want the betta its that I dont want injured fish.

I'l flush her down the toliet and see how she fells.

She is so heartless

Look - all you wan to do is take it back. Tell your mother that she can choose the next fish (within reason), that it will be hers but you will do the looking after!

This may work, you never know!

Also, help her choose, a fish with personality that she will get seriously attatched to - this will be good in the future!

just put it in the 8 gal and lower the water level a little or put some sort of cover on so he doesnt jumpn out
