I feel your pain, Ben. My parents wanted a name people couldn't shorten so they chose Amy... people have been calling me Amz since day one what I don't understand is my middle name is Laura. It's much prettier and it's even harder to shorten. Why call me Amy when Laura is going to waste?? Most people see Amy L written down and assume it's Louise, which is a name I like even less. Names are a bit of a sore point in my life...

I got called Laura, with no middle name, also so it couldn't be shortened. Trust me, Lawz is worse than Amz It gets me so mad!
