This is the first time I've had two male bettas in the house.I moved the vase close to the bowl.And for the first time I saw what is meant by flaring.When those two discovered each other the effect was electrical.I'm guessing rescued fishie must feel pretty good to put on such an awesome display.I moved them after a few minutes...but I am still in awe of how they become even more beautiful.
Watching them flare is the best! I'll never forget the first time I saw 2 of my juviniles flaring at each other in their nursery tank, it was the cutest thing in the world! If I wasn't hooked before that I sure was afterwards, hehe.
