im treating internal parasites with octozin. i followed the directions and dissolved the required number of tablets in some tank water . but stir as i may , it just wont fully dissolve. i poured it into the tank and i have some white powdery tablet bits on the bottom. surely this undissoled bit will still leech its active ingredient into the water colum?

I don't know sorry but thanks as I was just about to start a post asking what treats internal parasites!

Where did you get them?

P.s I don't know about dosing but was your water warm enough maybe???

just dissolve them down as far
as the go and put it in the tank
when i first started using octozin
i just used to throw them in the tank
then a few years later they changed the
instructions to crush and use tank water

You could always add the water from the 'dissolved' tabs and then get some fresh tank water and continue dissolving. Keep doing that and it should hopefully eventually dissolve.

i wouldn't worry about it
'it will all dissolve down and do
the job its supposed to do

it does seem to be working. the fish in question is starting to show an interest in food again .
