Hi, i looked at one of my mollys today and found that he had 7 salt like spots on his tail which were not there a week ago.

Do i have to wait for the spots to drop off before i add treatment?

i've got one of those tanks which has a 3 stage Filtration System....the filter cartridges sit on top of the water. A tube goes into the water, sucks the water up, goes through the cartridges and then the water goes back into the tank...the point is that the cartridges have carbon sealed inside and cannot be taken out..so i was wondering if i should just throw the cartridges into the tank so that the treament would not filter out...whould this work?

Kind regards, Richard :)

Dont worry about the filtration, it MIGHT effect the medication but not really a whole lot... I have treated my mollies with a blue anti itch liquid with the filtration and it worked flawlessly. Remember, the blue liquid is strong, so read the medication rules closely! :D
