New fish

Hi, I am new. I decided to check out this forum because I am planning to upgrade from the 10 gallon tank that I have had for over 10 years to a 26 or 36 bowfront, or possibly a 36 hex (space will not permit anything too much larger). And I think I am going to have some questions about how to best set up a home for my existing and future fish friends. I also have 3 cats and they like to watch the fish. They would also probably like to eat the fish but they are not allowed.
