I just received some nice floating bamboo Hygroryza aristata from Pearling Plants, and seem to have received a bonus plant. I have no idea what to do with it. The bamboo is on the left; my mystery plant is on the right. It has red stems and round, dark green leaves. Anybody know what this is?

It does look like rotala to me, especially ones like you suggested.

Indica seems more leggy but has darker leaves like yours.

@connorlindeman May be able to identify it, or have a good guess at least 😁
 
Its hard to tell tbh. Most rotala are very similar when grown emersed. The best way to tell is to let it transition
