My blood parrot Cichlid always gets excited when he sees me

So I have a blood parrot named Crush! I notice that he will swim around his tank and when he sees me he gets so excited! His gills spread out and he always swims up to me. Does anyone else’s blood parrot Cichlid do this? It’s honestly the most amazing thing ever. I could have the worst day and when I see him I cheer up!

Nope just me ?he hides from anyone but when he sees me he goes up to me

blood parrots and other big chiclids sometimes have affection i think. he might have noticed you since you are the one giving him food basically visiting him.

His tank is in my room so I’m always In it wether I’m gaming or talking to my boyfriend, he always wants my attention! ?
