Can someone with experience with mudskippers tell me what SG they do best in? I have read things that say 1.005, 1.010 - 1.015, and things that say up to 1.020. Also, should I be using freshwater salt or marine salt to make the water? I have been using Freshwater salt and it takes 2 tablespoons per gallon to get a SG of 1.015. Should I just go out and get a box of Instant Ocean or something? Thanks.

1.020 sounds a little high, most brackish fish prefer it just around 1.010-1.015, but whatever your at right now would be best to stick to, just so the fish is not shocked, if you wanted it to go down a little, you could slowly change it little by little with water changes.
It is better to buy Sea salt. :) Its not terribly more expensive than regular aquarium salt, and it buffers the water and adds more minerals.

just remember with mudskippers you need a tight fitting cover glass, so the air in the tank is quite humid...i think thats right :dunno:
